Erica has worked in marketing communications since 1985, beginning as a writer and editor at a leading Boston teaching hospital.
She transitioned from public relations and marketing to the online world in 1998, when she joined AGENCY.com: Boston. As both information architect and writer/editor, she worked with clients like Eli Lilly, Liberty Mutual, GlaxoSmithKline, Schering Key, Joslin Diabetes Center, AT&T and Quantum Computers.
Erica also has a keen interest in online community-building, and served as Community Manager for InnerWorkout.com, a women's health site.
Erica left AGENCY.com to freelance in 2001, later co-founding Dovetail Interactive with design partner Ruth LaGue. She received a bachelor's degree in marketing communications from Boston University.
